Hi,
I am not one to post, usually I just plug along doing my own thing, but here's the thing, I need some help. I weigh, measure and log my food. OK, so in the past I was not very good at doing it, but I have become much better this past month. Thing is I was losing weight, then all of a sudden I stopped. I am continuing to exercise, which usually causes a weight gain :frown: So what am I doing wrong? I use a stationary bike, burn anywhere from 50 to 100 cal then have been using weight machines for toning, not even sure how to add those in the log, and I have even burned up to 100 cal by using the tread mill. Please help me figure out what I need to do to continue to lose the weight.

Okay, so you are really saying 50 to 100 calores form exercise? In that case I would recommend you increase your exercise. how much are you doing currently? 30mins biking/walking/running will usually earn me somewhere between 200-300 calories. I'm not sure if you can increase your activity but I think it would be an easy place to start. Then focus on increasing your fruit and vegetable intake while staying within your alloted calories.
  • Agree. I would shoot for burning around 250 calories in each session. 50-100 isn't going to do much in terms of weight loss. Also, strength training should come "before" cardio if done during the same workout.
