Crock Pot Apple Cinnamon Steel Cut Oatmeal and Barley

Here is a wonderful overnight recipe for breakfast.....

In a crock pot combine:
4 c. Water
1 1/2 c. Apple Juice
1 c. steel cut oats
1/2 c. Barley (not instant)
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. salt

Cook overnight on low in a crock pot for 6-7 hours. Add 1/4 c. brown sugar in the morning before serving.

106 calories for 1 c. serving

    Dang, I just made a massive pot of oats last night with goji berries, almonds, cinnamon, and splenda. Totally trying this next week!
