Back of Legs and Long Lean Calves?

What are some good exercises for these areas? Every workout I've tried, I just can't seem to work these areas. Help!

    I was in Irish dance for 17 years competitively and it was amazing for my legs! Any sort of ballet/dance i think would probably work and it works lots of other muscles in your body as well. There are lots of dance workout videos online and in stores if you don't want/can't make it to a class.

    Dancing and running. Lunges, squats, etc. Try body weight exercises.

    Dancing and running (or anything that involves you being on your toes a lot)
