Is this weight loss sustainable?

Long story short I was strickened with the stomach flu yesterday evening and have lost 3 LBs. I am in no way an advocate of fast weight loss and have been drinking plenty of fluids. However I was wondering if I stick to my diet which is healthy whole foods and exercise plan which is 2 hours in the gym everyday will this weight stay off?

Sadly, unlikely, probably mostly fluids that will come back once you start eating/drinking again. Anything's possible though!0

Not sure how it works with the flu, but I have crohns and got sick and lost ten pounds in eight days. That was at the beginning of last month, I'm feeling better now and eating food and I've only gained back two of those ten pounds. So anything is possible, but don't be discouraged if you gain it back.0

No, unfortunately.
Your losing 3 lbs in one day would mean a calorie deficit, in one day, of:
3 x 3500 = 10500 calories !
As other said here, it is a combination of water and internal residue (or lack of I should say )0
