Ok to be a little bit hungry?

I work full time and pack my breakfast, 10 a.m. snack, lunch, and 3 p.m. snack. Some days I get so busy meeting with clients I don't get the opportunity to eat my 3 p.m. snack and I'm driving home hungry. Don't want to eat on the way home because once I get there I'll start cooking dinner and usually eat within one hour. I heard once that if you don't eat and you get hungry, it can have negative effects on your metabolism. Any truth to this? Is it ok to be a little hungry?

Your metabolism isn't that delicate. Don't worry about it.0
