    The best meal for my diet is a plate of beans! Well, there's more on it than that! Beans have a lot of fiber and are slow to digest so you will feel full longer. For a power lunch I have: 1c black beans, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2c. canned, diced tomatoes in garlic and onion and chopped cilantro (in summer). Combine all together and marinate in olive oil and balsamic vinagrette (about 1 hour, or best overnight). I also have a piece of fruit after lunch. If I eat this, I am not usually hungry for 4-5 hours! It is also low fat and low cal.
