What is 'better'???

Is it better to do cardio longer at less intensity or shorter at more intensity? I noticed I burn more calories at less intensity/longer duration. IE walking 3.0 for and hour as opposed to 4.5 for 30 min.
Which is 'better'? I want to be able to increase my endurance, eventually being able to have say, a 14 min mile. (Currently I can do a 17 min mile)
How do I get there?

Hello,
I would say increase your intensity on a week to week basis or every two weeks. Lets's say you walk 45min at 3.0 for two weeks.... then walk 45 min at 3.3 for two weeks etc....
your body will adjust and heart rate etc....
You are doing well keep it up!!!!0 -
Thanks Bill! You too!0
