I am trying to stay motivated, but when I weighed in after a week of working out I gained 3.0 lbs. now I didn't do the best but worked out everyday. I have never wore jeans before so do you think it was the jeans as that was a lot of weight. Please help me stay motivated.

i stepped on my scale with my jeans on just now, and then with them not on there was a difference of 2 ibs . Hope that makes you feel better . Dont let one weigh in get you down. there are going to be weeks you dont lose, or ever gain. Happens to all of us at some point. Just push for a better week, the next time. keep your head up and just keep going0

I weigh myself at my gym and I subtract 2 pounds for my shoes and work out clothes. I weighed them all on my food scale so I know how much they weigh. Some jeans depending the size and the how thick they are weigh more0

Weigh yourself the same every time you weigh in.
For example, my weigh in:
Every Tuesday morning before breakfast I weigh in naked.
Then I log it and go about my day and week.
That way every week is exactly the same.
Above, she weighs in every week the same so even if she didn't subtract her shoes she would know that she has lost 1 lbs compared to last week. Unless you want to know your exact weight.
But if you cant weigh in naked every week make sure you wear the same thing on your weigh in days then you know that compared to the last weigh in you are so many pounds less regardless of what you're wearing.0 -
i weigh myself naked, upon waking in the morning and after my morning pee. that's your truest weight.0
