Warrior Dash

Good morning everyone. I am thinking about doing a warrior dash in either June or September. I have heard they are great motiviation to stay/get in shape and are a lot of fun. I was wondering if anyone had done one and could share the anything about the experience. I think it may be incentive for me to work hard over the next few months. Any feedback would be great. Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday!

You will not regret it. Most fun at a race, ever. I did two last year. One in May and the next in August, for my 43rd birthday. It really will help to get/keep you motivated. Good luck to you. I should post my picture. I have a good one from the WD.0

It is very fun! I am doing Tough Mudder in September at Tahoe. i have done 3 Warriors dashes and it is great for beginner cross fitters. Best way to train for this 5k obstacle course is to:
A. Train at a cross fit gym
or
B. Run to build endurance on trails and pullups/pushups. (Plyometric exercises)
it is a great event to train for and look forward to. i wish you the best of luck and have fun when you do it! Next thing you know you'll be doing the Tough Mudder every year0 -
