Well I've been tracking my foods for the past week and have noticed something I'm not sure if I need to be alarmed about or not. I have replaced a lot of junk food snacks with an apple, orange, or other kind of fruit or veggie. After filling out my diary I'm seeing that a lot of days I'm like 100% or more over my Vitamin A and/or C (depending on the day). Is that bad? I've always been under the impression that those vitamins are good for you.

That's a good question, as I am over most times too.

ADEK are fat soluble, rather than water soluble. Water soluble vitamins will flush out excess in your urine, but it is more possible to have an overdose of fat soluble vitamins. Unless you're taking ridiculous amounts of A supplements though, you're totally fine getting plenty of vitamins from natural, whole foods.

    Yes to both.

I can go into the biology of it if you want, but it probably isn't necessary. Going over on Vit C is ok as long as you keep up your intake. What is dangerous is going over for years, then going under, as your body gets used to having a lot of it available and you get scurvy faster than someone who has eaten a normal amount of it all their lives. Vit A BAD to go over consistently.
