Anyone from Missouri??

I am looking for some MFP friends that are local. It can sometimes be hard to relate to others who are all across the country sometimes even the world! I have several Canadian and U.K. friends on MFP but when it comes to local events such as marathons, walks, etc. they can't relate.

A little about me, I am 23 years old and I live in Southwest MO. So far I have lost 39 lbs. I am working on a 1/2 marathon training program. I am still a beginner runner. I am slowly gaining progress. I am currently signed up for a 10k this month and my first half marathon at the end of next month. I would love to have MFP friends in my area who are working on something similar.
