how many ads there is for diet pills in a fitness magazine? I was looking at Fitness Magazine last night and I couldn't believe how many ads there was for diet pills. Don't people realize these things are bad for them? I can't believe that people would want to put this CRAP in their bodies. I took Hydroxicut when I was in my early 20's and all they did for me was make my heart race, and make me feel jittery. To me the risk of health risks is not worth it, I would rather do it natural with diet and exercise. What are your thoughts on this?

hydroxycut just recalled 1/4 of all of their products due to liver damage
.. people that make them are only taking avantage of your health. if you want to get healthy forget the pills!
and i agree ads for diet pills are EVERYWHERE.. they don't work. & if they do you just end up gaining it all back anyway once you stop taking them.0 -
Yeah - I subscribe to Fitness magazine. I really like the magazine, but some of the ads disturb me. I'm grateful that in the magazine I can flip the page and not see it - or fold that side back if I'm reading something on the other page!! It's too bad because they sucker so many people and do so much harm. We need to get that pills in the long run do more damage than good - some too much damage but you don't always find out until it's too late!
Ok. Stepping off the soap box before I really get started and backing carefully away :flowerforyou:0 -

I know that Hydroxycut has been recalled and that is a great thing, I took them when I was 20, I only took them for like a month and lost 20 pounds with them but I gained it all back and then some when I went off of them, thank God that I am not taking them now 9 years later, I don't take any kind of diet pills now, I believe in doing it the natural way with diet and exercise.0 -

if you have the money to place an ad in a magazine
you could put an ad in there that says eating poop will make you lose weight and they would run the ad
the magazine wants the money and only the money
they are not in the business of being your common sense or looking out for you even a fitness magazine
every business is a *kitten* for money one way or the other
magazines are no different0 -
