Hi all,
Im 30, Spanish but living in the UK, and 87 Kg or 13stone7pounds.
I'd love to say I don't know how I got here but I do.... came from a very active job as a kids rep where my daily routine would include hours of swimming, dancing and non stop running around, to an office job where my daily routine is all about sitting at my desk, drinking coffee and eating biscuits.
I am embarrassed to admit I was around 10 stone when I arrived in this country (I still thought I was fat mind!!) and now 3 stone heavier I dont even recognize the person staring at me in the mirror... I mean, where did all this flab come from??? I even have fat arms!!! sigh
I lost 2 and a half stone for my wedding, I joined here and tried but weight wasn't coming off quick enough, so to fit into my dream dress, I did it the stupid way by joining Cambridge diet, so yes the weight came off steadily and fairly quickly, but as soon as I started eating "normally" it all came back on... I say "normally" because I realize now my eating habits, portions etc are anything but normal... so I am here to stay.
I like to think I am not losing weight this time, as I intend never to find it again, Im here to get rid of it for good, for the last time.
I'd like to go in a shop and try something on and not feel frumpy or out of place.... I'd like to be heatlhy and fit enough to walk to the station without getting out of breath!!
So there you go, that's my story, Im excited and scared and hopefully will keep in the wagon this time!!
Wish me luck
