Willpower - Great Podcast!

Hi All,

Just listened to this great podcast "What Successful People Do Differently" and they talk a lot about willpower. Good news: Willpower can be developed!!! Heidi Grant Halvorson, motivational psychologist (author of Nine Things Successful People Do Differently), talks about how to develop willpower and this seems very applicable to our weight loss and fitness goals.

    Bottom line - we do much better when we tell ourselves we CAN have something than when we deprive ourselves (Bad Matt - no donuts!). I got through today thinking I would get some delicious red grapes for dessert if I stuck to my plan. I feel much better than if I chastised myself for wanting brownies! :smile:
