Can you get a good HRM for under 50 bucks, really under $40. I want to get one so I can get more accurate burn calories, but can't afford a really good one so was wondering if a $30-40 one will suffice or is it not worth buying one that cheap?
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hey Misty,
Double check with Amazon.com...i just bought one for 250 -
I think it's worth it to invest in a quality HRM. Polar FT7's cost $110 in stores, and you can probably find them cheaper on amazon, ebay...etc0

I had this Timex one for a long time, it's about $40: http://www.amazon.com/Timex-T5G971-Unisex-Personal-Monitor/dp/B000P8VWQS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331070854&sr=8-1. I highly recommend it. It worked really well and you just have to change the batteries (the watch and chest band both take watch batteries) every once in awhile.0
