Hi! I'm Susan and fairly new to MFP. I've played with the tracking information but find that when I get too overly obsessed, I need a break, but then I don't track my calories. It's a vicious cycle! So I figured I will join message boards to help me with motivation and staying on track.
Little bit about me-I'm 28 and live in Baltimore. I'm a full time grad student studying elementary ed, full time office assistant in DC and a (mostly) vegan. I tend to make allowances for honey. I lost over 90lbs this way and was working out regularly, but life took over. So, now I'm back on track with 5am work outs and eating less processed, more whole foods. Just need a little encouragement, plus I'm 10lbs away from reaching my healthy bmi level.
Another reason is I'm scheduled to backpack in South America for 3months with a friend in the fall, and I want to make sure my body is able and ready to handle that level of activity. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
