one week in and looking for friends

Hi I am 42 and trying to lose 45lbs so far I've lost 13 lbs !! I am 42 years old and try to workout every single day, I joined the gym, and try to go mon-fri, looking to make friends and hear all your ideas, and success stories !!1:smile: I don't really understand why you start out with a certain amount of daily calories (1270) is mine and then if you work out whatever you burned in calories they add onto your food intake, I can never get to that amount and it just doesn't make any sense to me? Explanations would be appreciated greatly !!

  • Feel free to add me. I just started a little over a week ago, and I could use more friends. Just because exercise adds more calories doesn't mean you have to use them. I do if I'm exceptionally hungry; otherwise, I keep them unused for quicker weight loss.:laugh:
