Hi everyone, got a couple questions. I have been doing this for 4 days now and everyday I go over my protein. I feel as though Im eating right, but the protein content is so high in a lot of foods. For instance one day goal was 47 but i had 78, another goal was 58 and I had 103 but Im staying pretty close in range with everything else, carbs I seem to be a little behind on each day, because Im finding hard to get those met with out going to far over the calories, any suggestions. My other question is what exactly does it mean that I have earned extra calories for the day from exercise, do I actually eat those or that just shows a bigger defecit that I may loose more? Thanks in advance for all your input.

Hi, and welcome. You need to check out the info about eating your exercise calories so that you understand that you SHOULD be eating them. Go to all topics on the home page, then choose general, and there should be a few threads there to help explain more about MFP to you.
As for going over on your protein, MFP tends to go alittle low, so don't worry too much if you're just alittle over. Exercising raises your protein amount, along with the other totals. So getting more exercise really DOES help if you're always over on your protein like I usually am.
