Hungrier after lifting weights?

I do cardio 5 to 6 days a week. I take a weight lifting class, "Body Pump", only once a week on Tuesdays. Today I am finding it very hard to stick to my calories and I noticed I had a peak in calories last Tuesday as well. Is this a trend I'm seeing that by working my muscles hard on Tuesdays gets me hungrier? Or is this just a coincidence? :huh:
