Has anyone done this? My coworker is having this done and it is extremely expensive (insurance will reimburse) and I'm not sure it is worth it? I would love to hear from anyone who has had the test done.

I haven't had this done, sounds like a good idea especially if insurance covers it. Does she have food allergies? I haven't really heard of anyone getting tested unless they have sensitivities with food/chemicals.

No she doesn't. Her mother did it and had great results sp that is why she is going for the test... I may just wait and see what happens for her.
  • What kinda test is it?

It is a blood test and it is suppose to give you what foods (you can also do dyes etc) that you may have sensitivity to. My coworkers mother lost 20lbs by cutting out the foods that her tests showed she had some sensitivity. I guess it'll list it by moderate to severe. Here's the website www.alcat.com.
  • I'm a little late to the post but I have had it done and I lost 15lbs in the first month and I just eat what I know I'm no t allergic to and I dont have a problem with weight loss. Not to mention I dont have seizures anymore.
There are a bunch of support groups on FB.

    I believe in this 110%
