Has anyone has the issue of losing inches but not pounds...I have been on MFP since March 9th and lost only 5lbs, I lost this within the 1st couple weeks and have since plateued(spell?).

I have however consistently lost inches. Does anyone have any advise as to how to kick my weight loss into high gear?

Look up zig zag calories in a search engine. In simplistic terms, it means eating more on certain days to keep your body off balace about how much fuel to expect, therefore it won't go in to starvation mode and reduce your metabolic rate. It seems to work for me.

Also use the tools in MFP and figure your BMF, then go to the page this link will take you to:
    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/51375-make-sure-you-re-eating-enough?page=1#posts-571410

and use the instructions in the post about figuring how many calories you need to maintain, vs lose.
It will help you figure out if you need to tweak your calories and/or exercise.

With these two things in hand, that plateau will be behind you in the near future.

    Good luck :flowerforyou:
