Any recipes for hibiscus tea without sugar

Options
I here it lowers blood pressure. I haven't purchased any yet and would like to find out if certain brands are better quality? I would appreciate any tips for flavoring the tea also. Thanks

If you live in the south western US you can find hibiscus flowers in supermarkets in the Mexican food isle and make the tea yourself without the sugar. They are redish purple with small petals, it looks like potpourri. When my Nana makes it, she takes a whole bag and puts it in a large pot to boil until the red color is released. Then she leaves it out on the counter to soak until its cool enough to touch or overnight. She then strains it, squeezing water from the petals with her hands. Put it in a pitcher and sweeten it with splenda or just have it on its own, though its a little tart. you can water it down to make more, or if the flavor is too strong.
