Stick With It!

Hopefully someone will read this and re-motivate themselves. I've been eating a perfect 1200 calories every day up until 2 days ago. Over the last two days I went anywhere from 500 to 800 calories over. I started to go back into the same cycle today of telling myself "You completely blew it, may as well binge on the rest of those cookies you made. It was fun losing weight while it lasted." It is *SO* easy to tell yourself that and becomes impulsive. This time I did something new......I thought about what I was telling myself and how ridiculous it is! We by no means have to be perfect every single day to succeed. Overeating for 2 days is NO excuse to completely give up! If you will stop and think and just get control for that one second, it changes your whole outlook for the day. When I reach my goal weight, I will not care or remember that I spent one weekend splurging on cookie dough, Japanese food, ice cream, and alcohol. Guess what? I have the freedom to get back in control any second I wish and so do you. Remember what your motivations are, and use your brain power (not even willpower) to tell yourself how illogical it is to think eating healthy is all over with because you slipped. Stick with it! I've been addicted to food for 10 years and just now breaking it for the first time. If I can do it after this long, you definitely can. *high fives to everyone*

Thanks for sharing! It's hard not to want to give up when you mess up .. but you're absolutely right that:smile: once we make it to our goal, these little mess ups won't even matter. Thanks for the inspiring words and best of luck!
