I walked a mile in 60 minutes walking my dog but there is nothing in exercise that says walking 1.0 mph.. just 2.0 mph, etc. So should I use the 2.0 mph and cut it down to 30 minutes? Thanks.

I typically use 100 calories per mile ---maybe someone out there with a heart rate monitor can give us a rough number----it all depends on your weight.
For me with a BMI of 30---it is 100 calories per miles if I walk at 3.5 but then in one hour I would burn more calories--so 100 would be safe I think.0 -
caloriesperhour.com has an activity calculator and list "strolling - less than 2mph" you could use their estimate if you like0
