I didn't cave and go to McDonalds...

I'm still working on having more power to change what I used to want to eat... I caved in on Friday and had Domino's pizza, but I promised myself after I went window shopping on Saturday, to stay the course...
Well today, the thought of a Cheeseburger Happy Meal entered my mind. :noway: I did not give in!!
I took some deep breaths, thought about something else, and thought about how much more important being healthy is. Window shopping stirred up my motivation because the clothes are sooo cute!!
So instead of spending 600+ calories on a cheeseburger, small fries, and a diet soda :grumble: ....I spent less than 200 calories on 5 ounces of baked skinless chicken breast and 3 cups of fresh spinach lightly sauteed with 1 slice of chopped salami (hormel natural uncured salami is my poor girl's pancetta) and olive oil cooking spray with a glass of water with a little juice mixed in for taste.:flowerforyou:

Good girl! Your chicken meal actually sounds really good. I've tried to eat healthy at mcdonalds and have deemed it impossible. I mean, who can resist those fries? I thought about picking up dinner there tonight as well, but instead came home. Hubby and I are now grilling chicken. Yay! It must be something in the air whispering "You don't reeallly want McDs... you want CHICKEN." I hope the voice stays around.0

I haven't been to Micky Dees in 5 years. Trust me: the longer you keep away, the easier it is to stay away.0
