Activity Level?

Hi I'm a bit confused by something...Does your activity level depend on your daily exercises or what your activity level is through the rest of the day?
If someone were sitting all day 5 days a week while occasionally moving around and standing up and then exercising for over an hour, while the weekends had more walking and outdoor activity, would that person be considered sedentary or moderately active?
I'm trying to figure out what activity multiplier to use for my BMR and have it at sedentary. I exercise just about every day and burn 200-300 calories, does that mean I should go by moderately active? Or maybe just lightly active?
Hopefully I'm not confusing anyone.. I'd really appreciate it!

just try and figure out your normal daily active level without your excercise. If you basicaly sit around and hardly get up and do things as the norm then I would say is would be sedintary. If you get up and do alot around the house, errands, gardening everyday then you could say it to be moderate, but if you are at a job that you are constantly moving and on your feet all day then I would say very active.0
