Bathroom Scales

Can anyone recommend a good bathroom scales that works on carpet?

    No - they either record how much a spring is distorted by your weight or they have electric sensors to measure the weight. Both would require a firm even surface.

    Maybe if you put a board under scales it might work ok. Home scales wouldnt be accurate anyway but useful to measure relative weight - that you are lighter today than you were last week - hopefully!

    Some Salter Scales come with feet extenders for use on carpet. Alternatively could you get an offcut of lino or something to place under them?

    I remember taking my scales onto the street once, because the readings on my floors were inaccurate - think my neighbours had a laugh - needless to say, i didnt weight that in with my usual weightless outfit

    I live in a subsiding flat where my floors all dip in the middle, the only flat part of my place is against my front door. My boyfriend found this hilarious :/ i've lost all my feet for my scales :s

    oh for the actual reply my scales are weight watchers, they work fine when you have flat floors!
