I need your advice

im just really starting out on my weightloss/ fitness journey. i am almost 39 years old and 5ft 10in and starting out at 250 lbs and wanting to be 180lbs once i get there i may reevaluate and want to be 170 or 160 lbs.

i am using the xbox kinect and doing a combination of zumba fitness, and dancing to my kids dance central 1 and 2 games. i log these as aerobics usually high impact because my heart rate is well over 100 and i feel like im dying part of the time. im doing 3 sets of 30 minutes or more a day and i usually only rest 5 to 10 minutes in between sets . so i am doing this 7 days a week what i need to know is

will this work or is this going to harm me?
am i doing it too often?

please help me to know if this is good or bad for me
