Hi everyone..
I want to make sure that i know what i'm doing, i'm a little confused, so if someone would explain it to me i would really appreciate it.
Question is regarding calories - consumed and burned.
If my daily target is 1700 kcl- without exercise.- than that is the amount i should consume no matter what.. right ?
So.. if i exercise today and burn 500 kcl, does that mean i should eat 2200 .. ? Do I have to ?
Is it better not to eat the burned calories ? Is it going to slow my progress if i don't eat them ?
I know i should eat enough so i don't slow down the metabolisam, but let's say i burn 1000 kcl with my workouts, like hiking etc.. am i going to loose faster weight if i eat only.. 1700 or 2000 kcl.. and don't eat the other kcls ?
Sometimes i just want to burn really a lot of kcls. but i'm just confused, is it necessery to eat them ?
And also other way arround there are days that i just want to keep eating, so if i eat all my allowed kalories plus my burned kcls.. am i going to see results or is that going to slow me down..
I'm sorry if i'm to confusing, but i hope you understand my question and that you have some experience with this.
Thanks

The website detracts the amount of calories you shouldn't consume.
For me it tells me I should consume at least 1870 a day, the amount I burn if I stay in bed all day is 2081 and I times that by 1.1 which is 2289.1 and if I burn an extra five hundred calories that that number gets bumped up to 2789. I should at least consume at least 2200 maybe a little more then that. If you don't consume everything then your body will go into starvation mode. The website does it automatically for you and I always go by the old saying if you want to burn it, you have to consume it. Without fuel for your body then it will slow down your metablolism.
I hope this helps you. But usually you have to play with it a little see what works best for you.0 -
If you enter the info in and then hit the "complete today's entry" button on your home page, it will have a note at the bottom telling you if you are at risk for lowering your metabolism by eating too few calories. Like in the last response, they calculate that for you and you have a goal number you should try to be sure to hit every day. If you fall under every now and then it may be ok but you don't want to do it every day because it can actually cause you to stop losing or even gain weight slowly if your body is in starvation mode for too long.
Try to hit your target but make sure they are good calories not empty ones.0
