Hi everyone.
I'm new here on this site and it seems to be a great place to help with my weight problem.
I'm a 46 year old male,
I started to change my life around on the 8th January this year.
I was 301lb. and i was fed up been that way, hated everything about myself.
When i reached 300lbs. i could not believe what had happened to me.
So far i have lost 33lbs. (Starting weight on here yesterday is 268lbs.)
I only found this site yesterday and would love to be part of something that will help me stay on track with my weight lose.
The main problem i have is that i only have one leg, (I lost the other in a car accident 26 years ago) so some exercises are out for me but i am finding other things to help me like lifting on a bench and sit ups etc..I'm quite active during the day.
I would love to be friends with people that might help me on my way as I'm am a little shy and find it difficult to make the first move with things like this.
Thanks for reading.
Andy.

Welcome to MFP! I've been here just over a week and have found the site, posts and people are all so helpful. I'm so glad I was directed here. I know you will find all the support you need.

Congratulations on the weight you've lost! I sent you a friend request.

Welcome and good job on your continue success. i joined this site 3 weeks ago (?) and have such a great support system. we all are here for the same reason. love to read the success stories and see the before/after photos, it gives me hope and knowing i am in the right direction of my goal. for the most part post/comments are very inspirational and some not so much. just skip over those, not everyone here is a license dr or nutritionist (including myself). we all have a story and we all want to be healthy. send me an invite!!
