Build in "Wiggle Room" anyone?

Most days I build in a bit of calorie wiggle room.
Today it was a long walk at lunch, but sometimes its weight training or swimming.
The wiggle room is exercise that is not really counted for the purpose of eating back my calories, which I do when I do a cardio workout and wear a HRM.
I figure this occasional activity burns more than sitting at my desk, but not so much as to raise my heart rate into the training zone. The few extra calories are sort of my insurance, just in case I got something wrong or missed something I ate.
Anyone else purposely do a bit extra, just in case?

I don't eat all my exercise calories back and if i was having a rest day and think I might have gone over I just go on motorized pedal exerciser at night while I'm watching telly and can burn just over 300cals in 30 mins or 600 in an hour.
