Evil inner thighs!

Okay, so I've never had great legs. (Always had large muscley calves and alright outer thighs) But now that I have finally lost some of the excess weight and regained some strength again, I was wondering...
Are there any good exercises to help your inner thighs? Things that could be done outside of a gym? We have one of the inner/outer thigh leg-machines at the school gym but it's usually occupied whenever I can make it down there... I normally do exercises at home/work in any case.
Any help, tips, suggestions would be great! ^_^

You can't spot reduce.0

Yeah, I have the same issue. My inner thighs are the first place I gain it and the last I lose it. You'll see a difference as you drop more weight. Spot reducing isn't viable.
Also, Go Navy!0 -

^^^ This! However you can work those muscles! You can lay down at home and squeeze a ball between your knees and you will feel your inner thighs working. I'm sure if you google it there are tons of simple workouts. You might also want to start running or swimming or something that would be great for your legs overall. Good Luck!0 -
I've been doing a lot of sumo squats with weights as part of my ChaLEAN Extreme program & they seem to be helping quite a bit with my inner thigh issue. I think I'll always have an inner thigh issue though, but this is helping minimize.0

you just gotta keep toning and dropping the lbs.
Pop Pilates (a youtube channel) has an inner thigh toning work out. its pretty good.0 -
Try side lunges! Have you thought about the 30 Day Shred? That's great for toning your thighs.0
-
Just keep running, do squats, lunges, Leg ups.. I am in the same boat. My inner thighs and the area above my belly button need tightening.0

Plie (toes pointing out) squats, plie squat jumps, or sumo squats (basically same as plie squats) You can do it at home, and they KILL!!0

Plie squats are good for the inner thighs!0

I'm with ya here, I've got quite the calves. I've come to terms with them, they are my kilt-wearing legs. My inner thighs are starting to reduce a bit, but they will never be tight and skinny, and they will always touch. *Shrug* Love my legs anyway. Especially in a pair of heels and a short skirt, just can't beat shapely legs.0

One thing I found really good for my inner thighs was strapping 2.5lb weights to my feet, laying on my side & doing leg lifts, rep x20 on each leg.0

Right there with ya babe! But, nope is right. You can't spot reduce.0

Yeah :] It really makes your muscles burn & I do this at least twice a week & my thighs are starting to really tone up.0 -
when I started riding my bike I lost over an inch in each leg and my inner thighs don't touch when I stand with my feet together. Try a bike.0

All the above mentioned squats plus do the plie squats but drop all the way down to where your booty is as close to the ground as possible then stand up....all the way up on your tippy toes while you squeeze your booty and thighs, then go back down...never let your heels touch the ground.
It's in one of the Jillian videos...I think Extreme Shed and Shred not sure if it's level one or two though.0 -

Yes...but if you raise your bottom leg (cross your top leg over the bottom and have your knee pointing up) THAT will work your inner thigh...oh...and it kills...
But you can't spot reduce. I'm the same way...my inner thighs have rubbed together for as long as I can remember...Just the way I was made I guess.0 -
Excessive cardio will just eat away at more lean muscle mass while your body holds onto fat due to the stress of the excessive cardio.
Lift heavy things (you won't bulk up I promise - you need testosterone for that to happen)!!! Sprint once in a while!! Move a lot at a slow pace (not slow like a turtle).
Eat real, whole, unprocessed foods. Get plenty of healthy fats in the diet. Stay away from sugar and refined carbs and processed foods
Do Intermittent Fasts (my fave length of time is around 40 hours). They're great for fat loss. Here are some search results from my favorite site. You can also search the internet some.

I started Primal with a 26 hour fast and it was so freeing after spending six months counting calories and weighing and logging food and having to eat 6 times a day because I was constantly hungry from the carbs/blood sugar ups and downs. When I went Primal I cut back on exercise and 7lbs melted (of fat and even more water - my belly went flat for the first time and my thighs and butt got smaller and I had already lost 10lbs doing it the conventional way) off me in 6 weeks. I dropped about another 10lbs total and hit a weight I haven't seen since before puberty - I'm 41). I now follow the lifestyle and I'm healthy and lean for the first time in my life. And I feel amazing. Turned out those "healthy" whole grains were the cause of every digestive issue I've had to deal with since I was a little girl.0 -

I also vote for walking faster and lengthening your stride. There is a magical pace/stride length where you will really feel it in your inner thighs. And you can do this at any time.0
