Just looking for some ideas/tips on how people stay motivated to hit the gym. I am currently going 5-6 days a week for the past 10 weeks, but I feel like I get bored. I have switched up my routine, and just recently started doing work outs from the Nike Training app, but the treadmill gets boring! just hoping someone will have some idea's how to make my workout more exciting or how I could enjoy the running/walking on the treadmill!

  • I find exercise boring as well, that's why i got an MP3 player. Now i listen to music, podcasts, or even listen to language learning sound files. I almost look forward to walking or getting on the stationary bike.
    PS - Sometimes I pretend on walking in exotic places too.

    Still excited for the gym myself but music definitely helps. Not only does it make the time go by but I actually get a better workout. Have you tried lifting weights instead of cardio?

    my gym has a pool so i switch it up every other day i do machines like bike eliptical treadmil and then swim on the days in between
