I have bought some decaf green tea. Can this be counted towards your water allowance for the day?

Are you adding cream, sugar, other sweetners to it?

I was told if you drink it plain or with a little lemon, yes you can count it. if you add anything else to it, then no.

I count it, but I still try to get 64 oz of water most every day.

Fun fact: If you enter more than 8 glasses of water, the glass in the counter overflows!!!

I never knew it did that until a couple of weeks ago. I usually don't enter the water I drink after I get home from work, so I never saw it!
  • Thanks for this post! I drink green tea everyday and haven't thought about counting it as water :drinker:
