HI,
I am some what new to this web site and I just started my diet too. ( joined last week).

So, I have a question about weighing myself.

How often should I be doing this?
Right now I am doing it about every other day.
Is that too much? I've lost about 3 1/2 lbs since last Wednesday when I started. I know there will be a point when that slows down. So I don't want to discourge myself.

Any pointers?

    Hi,

It would be wise to only weigh in once a week.

you should probably weigh in once a week on the same day, and i would suggest doing it in the morning, before breakfast (you'll weigh less!) :flowerforyou:
  • once a week... I weigh in and measure myself on monday morning... keeps me from cheating horribly on the weekends because I know on monday I weigh in! lol. And remember, muscle weighs more than fat and youre going to start gaining more muscle... thats why I measure myself as well to get an overall idea of where I'm at :)
  • I weigh and measure on Monday's. But I won't like I sneak peek on Sat. :blushing:

Once a week in the morning when you first get up has give what I feel to be a true idea off your progress.

I weigh myself once a week right now (every Monday morning). Once I reach my goal weight, I plan to weigh myself every 2-3 days so that I can keep a close eye on any weight gain and nip it in the bud (i.e., cut back for a day or two on my eating).
