Going for my yearly physical, and I'm excited. It's been at least 5-6 yrs since I've weighed 154 lbs.

Can't wait to show it off to my Dr. :)

I received great news at my last doctor's visit. Had been a little over a year and I had lost 37 lbs. The time before that my doctor had changed my Rx's, put me on different diabetes medicine and also started me on cholestrol medicine. Well, I never started the cholestrol medicine, just heard too many bad things about it, but it was the kick in the butt, I needed. Started on the diabetes medication, taking it twice a day and was monitoring and as I started really watching what i ate and exercising, I actually stopped the evening, dinner time, dose and had even had a couple of low blood sugar episodes.

So, I went and got my lab work and made my appt.for a couple of weeks later, so she would have the results. And all the results were normal, I can only imagine that she was thinking that change in meds was the ticket, because, of course, she had no idea of the weight loss. Well, I am no longer on the diabetes meds. I got a Great Job ~ Keep it up and off I went.

Being off of the diabetes meds is great motivation. Good Luck with your visit ~ Hopefully your doctor will be pleased.

    Enjoy ~
