Calorie burner monitors

Is there a calorie burner monitor out there that can count the actual calories you burn during a workout? If so, how exactly does it work and in your opinion, which one is the best?

I have a Polar f4 heart rate monitor and its been so good! It has a transmitter band that you put on around just under your chest (I usually just tuck mine in under my bra) and you wear a watch that shows your heart rate, how long you've been working out for, and how many calories you're burning It also lets you see the totals of all your workouts, and you set it for your weight, height and gender. It's so useful, especially if you're wanting to eat back your exercise calories.
After i used the HRM I realized how inaccurate calorie counters on gym machines were, so having a monitor is good Mine cost $100 (shipping included, I'm in Australia) but its definitely been worth the money! I've never had any trouble with it and I've heard from others too that Polar is pretty reliable.
Hope that helps!0
