Feeling a bit discouraged

I am up 1.8 pounds this week. I worked out this week 3 times as much as I have in the past. The most I've gone over is 150ish calories. I guess I am disappointed with the number.

to stay "healthy" ur really only suppose to loose 2lbs a week and slow down to 1lb a week when ur almost at ur goal.
so i can only assume if ur worried about how much u have lost u are at the beginning of ur workout journey. taking that assumption into account u are only off by .2 of a lb. id say ur doing great. there are going to be weeks ur scale doesnt move at all. just keep ur eye on the prize0 -

That's the problem. But yes. I have only about 7 more pounds for me to be where I want to be but I thought with the movement it would be a tad easier.

no it only gets harder... its the sad truth. sometimes the following week u will loose double. thats just the weird way our bodies work. its happened to me numerous amounts of time.
edit: drink lots of water. sometimes when i gain weight its because i had a high sodium diet that week and my body is retaining water.0 -
With only a few more pounds to go it is harder. Maybe you have some water weight from your extra workouts...I have been told our muscles can hold some extra water. Just make good choices, log you food so you can see if you are going over or under too much and keep up the exercise. If you never quit you will always win!!!!! You will get there :happy:0
