Chia Seeds

Hello! I am going to start incorporating Chia Seeds in my diet for more fiber. Does anyone know how much on average should we be eating a day?

    Depends on how much extra fibre you're looking to get - I throw a tablespoon or two into my smoothies every day and they're great! If you haven't had them before, the texture can be a bit bizarre at first... if you mix them in liquids, they remain seed-like, with a bit of a gelatenous casing (they absorb some of the liquid). Sounds disgusting but actually quite yummy!

    I just tried some in my yogurt this morning...yogurt, blueberries, Kashi Go Lean Cereal, and 1 - 2 tablespoons of the Chia seeds. I really liked it. After looking up all the health benefits...I will be using this in my diet almost daily. Just incredible!

    I put them on top of my scrambled eggs and I also put them in my greek yogurt. I stick with one tablespoon a day, but that's just me.
