I have a shoe obsession. I have enough shoes to wear a different pair every day for a few months.

And yes, I shave my lip. Waxing/chemicals/plucking hurt or irritate too much. I got the idea from Caroline on The Real Housewives of NJ. When my hair was short like hers, I used to do my face, too.

Well if we're going with nail-orientated confessions, I confess that I've never ever had a 'pedi' or a 'mani' and I really couldn't care less what my nails look like. They're clean (unlike my son's ha ha). They look ok, I can type. They're not bitten.

My mom and aunt are the same way.
I got it from my grandmother who never left the house without her hair done and lipstick on. Even if we were going to the hardware store while in our gardening scrubs.

Also, I get it from my mom. Like that weird southern woman thing where you have to look nice even if you're going to the grocery store. I used to go to the nail salon with my mom when I was like 5...it's just what I'm used to!

Just discovered last year that my brother has the same thing. My mom also cannot touch cotton balls without gagging. (must be genetic weirdness!):happy:
