I find that I have to wear the strap uncomfortably tight at the beginning of exercising. It does loosen a little, but it stays in place and I forget it's there pretty quickly,0

Tighten it.0

My Polar HRM came with a chest strap labelled 'M-XXL' and I was able to just tighten it up and use it fine for a long time. But now I think it's about time to purchase the 'S' strap. The sizing overlaps with the 'M-XXL' measurements a bit but obviously will go smaller. I believe the elastic in the band gets a little stretched over time, hopefully having the small one will mean I can use it longer even as the elastic loses some of its elasticity. If yours is a Polar, they have replacements available on Amazon. Polar also makes a sports bra that has a spot for the transmitter to snap on so you don't have to wear the chest strap in addition to a sports bra, however I think they are a little $$ plus I haven't looked into what sizes they have available.0
