Yep, I've read it, really good! Another great one is called "Wither" by Lauren DeStefano....first of a series of 3. It's really good!

After reading the Hunger Games trilogy, I looked for something similar and found The Uglies. So far, the first book is very good.

The premise is that upon their 16th birthday, all people have surgery to make them physically perfect. Before the surgery, they're considered "Ugly". Well some kids object to this and run away. The story so far follows one girl who wants the surgery and her best friend, who doesn't, and ran away.
