Does drinking ice tea count towards daily water intake?

    If it's got no calories I don't see why not since it's mostly water anyway.

    I count ice tea and hot tea, even if it is lightly sweetened. I'm not a "water only" counter, that doesn't work for me.

    I would also add caffiene free to that. I drink caffeine free Lemon Zinger, and Ginger tea and count that as my water.

    I counts toward mine. If not , I'd only be severely dehydrated because it's all drink before leaving work most days.

    I read somewhere (don't remember where so I can't cite it) that anything that isn't plain water counts as half. So if you drink 16 oz of unsweet tea/diet soda/etc, it would count as one 8 oz serving. Thats the way I always count it.
