Scale is barely moving since the first week but as long as the inches keep moving I'm good!

Whatever method you're using to estimate LBM vs BF says you've dropped 7 lbs of LBM & <4 lbs of fat in 3 weeks. I mean, great job on making the scale move, but duuuuuude. That doesn't concern you?

What's to be concerned about ... I'm at 3 weeks tomorrow and have also lost 10.8 lbs & 9.5 inches. My inches aren't as extreme as hers but I've always found it easy to lose the weight in the beginning. It's the staying at it that tends to get harder but MFP has definitely kept that easier. As long as she's eating and exercising properly as best as she can then I don't see the concern ... it'll even out and get to a slower pace which will be when the patience will need to kick in but, for now, she should enjoy the loss while it's still happening at that rate (in my humble opinion, anyways).

Awesome job! Keep up the hard work. So great to have results to keep the motivation going. I lost 10 in less than a month. Our big payoff was inches though. I dropped one shirt size and 2 pant sizes!! Felt so awesome and cannot wait to see what this month holds.

Awesome job! I love the use of a spreadsheet to keep track. Totally doing this from now on and wish I had when I started a couple months ago :)

I'm not sure if you didn't read what I wrote, or if you don't understand the importance of maintaining as much LBM as possible.

No it doesn't concern me at this point because that actual number doesn't mean anything to me. I am not eating sugar and simple carbs, I eat plenty of veggies, some fruit and plenty of protein and I supplement because of a protein deficiency. I have a pretty strict workout and the sheet calculates LBM based on weight and measurements, I know some parts of me are losing fat more quickly than others but when I can start to see muscle definition instead of a fat layer, then no it doesn't concern me. It's a spread sheet, it's making a calculation, every body is different. I feel better today than I have felt in 3 years, so I'll take it.

Good 'nuff! If you're restricting carbs coupled with heavy workouts, then an initial drop in LBM measurements due to glycogen depletion makes sense. If you're eating well, moving well & feeling good, keep it up :flowerforyou:
