Confused- want to make way for my wine... :-)

Okay - hang on as I may loose you here.....

So, I have a marathoners body type after an injoury that has kept me out of my sneakers for the past 4 months. Previuosly toned, lean muscles have given way to blubber and I am currently trying to shave 10lbs before race season. So - I have been "set" at 1200 cal per day and 1770 calories to burn through excersise. fine - no prob.

I have a few "non -negotiables" such as my weekly wine, dinner out with the husb, and a splurge take-out lunch. I figure these calculate to 2275 calories, over and above the mandated 1200 per week that I will need to compensate for.

So - my question is, do I need to to EAT 1200 calories and BURN 4045 calories? (1770 + 2275?)

    Ok, I'll admit, I'm lost.

Do you mean you are going to eat 1200 a day then burn 1700+ a day? or is that a weekly figure? If the former, are you sure you want to give your body -500 calories to live off? Or are you adding on your 1700 to the 1200 so you will, in fact, be eating 2900+ per day?
