Simple aerobic routines, MASSIVE appetite?

Okay, so I have been doing some free weights, some little aerobic exercises on youtube...generally about 20 minutes a day, 6 days a week. It's also very well spread out to not cause damage (abs every other day, arms every third day, and legs every third day)

When I work with weights (arms or abs) I use 5lb dumbells. It's what I'm used to, though I haven't had a consistent weight routine in a year! The aerobics routines are low intensity and I don't think I'd burn a whole lot of calories.

It's been a little over 2 weeks, and my appetite has been INSANE! I'm especially craving sugars and carbs (unrelated to ovulation/period).

I usually measure my cereal by cup servings at a time, but I have been eating 3 cups of Mini Wheats or Raisin Bran AT A TIME. (No high fructose corn syrup, I'm allergic) Trying to eat more protein, but my cravings are out of control!!!

My weight has slightly increased and then decreased back to normal... today I have noticed my body is more toned though.

QUESTION: Is it normal to CRAVE CARBS this bad and ALWAYS be hungry when you start working out? Aside from protein are there any supplements that can help with toning up and not feeling so hungry? I'm allergic to protein powders (corn derivatives).

YES! I run alot (20ish miles a week 4X6 times a week) and everytime I am done with a run an hour or two later I want to eat everything in sight! You just have to ensure you don't go eat a box of Oreos. About once a week I fall off the deep end (500-1000 over goal) and then I just have to work out more the next day ;) Even with eating a bit more the exercise and going a little over is better than a person that does nothing and makes goal everyday.
