So far I've lost 3 pounds in three days and i'm very excited to be on my journey to losing my 50 pounds so my boyfriend and I can start trying for another baby after losing our first. Lately though since i've been dropping the pounds, somewhat changed my diet and started exercising my body has been lets say releasing more of the foods? In other words I've been using the bathroom like 3 times as much, multiple times in a day. What could be doing that to me? It's somewhat frustrating. I may just be getting sick but i'm recovering from a surgery almost nearing the end of recovery and i'm about to go back to work so I can't have this interfering with my life. Any advice?

I know when I exercise and eat right I go more often, but not 3 times a day. If your output seems normal in color and consistancy I wouldn't worry too much about it, and things will probably slow down eventually. Otherwise if things seem odd talk to your doctor. Do you have to go in to get released to go back to work? If so you could talk to him about this problem.

I thought the recommendation was to "relieve" yourself after every meal. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Since I have been creating a healthier lifestyle for myself I have also noticed more trips to the bathroom. But it makes me feel a lot better because I know I didn't go enough prior. It is good to clean out your system so I don't think you should be concerned. However, if you think it is ABNORMAL then def consult your doctor.

You're likely eating more fiber and drinking more water which helps for you to be more regular. Three times a day is actually good and cleansing. If it's quite uncomfortable for you to go you may want to increase your water. Make sure you're getting about 25 grams of fiber per day, too. If you're really concerned and things seem out of whack for your body, you may want to see your doctor. When I'm making sure to get my fiber and fluids it's regular for me to "relieve" myself 1-3 times a day.

I've noticed this, too... but I assumed it was the increased physical activity that was helping my digestive system move a bit faster. It's annoying, but I do feel better than I used to.
