Margherita Pizza!!

Made this tonight, was absolutely delicious and tasted more like high end thin crust pizza than "health food".

Ingredients:

1 Syrian Style Pita (I use George's, 88 cals for the whole thing)
1/8-1/4 c. Tomato sauce (Prego Traditional)
2 oz Mozzarella pearls (Bel Gioioso Pearls)
Fresh Basil
Red pepper flakes

Using pita bread for crust, spread sauce in a thin layer on top. If you use too much sauce it will be wet and squishy and not at all good. Tear up a few large basil leaves by hand and sprinkle evenly over the pita. Place mozzarella pearls on top, with a little space between each. and sprinkle red pepper flakes over everything. Put this on an upside-down cookie sheet under the broiler until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is gooey. Tastes like amazing pizza, and the whole thing is only 264 calories!

    My husband LOVES Margherita pizza, so I will definitely have to make this for him some time.

    My boyfriend thought I was "off my diet" tonight, because we were having tasty pizza treats. It's a pretty good substitute for the real thing.
