Treadmill anyone?

    I'm not exactly sure what you are asking here BUT I enjoy my treadmill so will go on the assumption that you are looking for something that will keep your interest while you are on the treadmill. :smile:

    First off, my treadmill is at home and placed in an area (corner) where I can see the TV and I can see it 'calling for me' every day. The fact that it's there where I can see it makes sure I can't "forget" it so it doesn't turn into a clothes hanger at some time either. :wink:

    Secondly, not only can I watch TV while I'm on my treadmill, I also have an mp3 player velcro'd onto it with some of my favourite tunes downloaded into it (have figured out which ones work for the speed I walk at so can easily switch thru the songs that work the best at each of the speeds) PLUS I have a Kindle sitting on it for my last 10 minutes or so of cool down for a change. Those 3 things have been awesome with keeping me going on the treadmill because I don't find myself getting bored at all. It would totally suck to be staring at a wall with nothing to listen to or look at or whatever to keep the mind busy while the body is busy.

    Thirdly, I track my exercise every day, and each day I make it a goal to beat my previous out-come ... be it, lasting one more minute or burn a few more calories or put it up a little faster or last a little longer at the faster speed, etc. These small little goals are a great incentive to keep me going as well.

    I'm trying to get motivated myself. I did 30 min. at 2 mph last night and am going to do the same today......soon haha. I am also trying to get to the pool for a swim 3 or 4 times a week. Download some good music and go for a stroll. :smile:
