OK... So i have a Bowflex that was in my basement. The problem of couse is "Out of Sight, Out of Mind". And, the only good it was doing downstairs was making a good clothes rack.
So, I moved it upstairs, and put it where it is easier to see... and use.
I researched online for the best way to do a FAT-LOSS routine. Of course, I found numerous articles saying do it this way, and numerous articles saying that was all wrong, do it this way instead. So I started doing it my way so at least I would be doing something. I got a letter forwarded to me from a friend, that came from a personal trainer.
I was unsure as to whether I should do certain muscle groups on certain days, or all of them on the same day. And when to cardio, and how much,
I took his info, added my twist to it, and sent it back. I was told that for what I wanted to accomplish (lose fat, get toned) my plan should work. Give it 5-6 weeks, and then I can change it up.
So, what I do is:
Wake up (pretty important). Cardio first thing. Exercise bike, 30 minutes, 300 calories. Then breakfast.
Around noon, I take the dog for a 1/2 mile walk.
Then a 5 minute warm up on the exercise bike.
a "full circuit" on the bowflex, every group. Biceps, triceps, back, shoulders, chest, legs.
then 5 minutes on the bike.
Then a repeat of the "full circuit"
Then 5 more minutes on the bike.
Then I grab the doggy, and we walk another 1/2 mile
Come home, and do a protein shake,
